Former Astronaut to Speak

Former NASA Astronaut Carl Walz is a retired United States Air Force Colonel currently working for Orbital Sciences Corporation's Advanced Programs Group as Vice President for Human Space Flight Operations. He is a veteran of four space flights and has logged nearly 231 days in space. He currently holds the U.S. space flight endurance record of 196 straight days in space. Mr. Walz is speaking to Physics classes on Tuesday and Wednesday in addition to addressing the senior class in the Palmer Center Tuesday evening.
