Place Your Scholastic Book Orders by May 23
Summer vacation is nearly here! Scholastic books are a wonderful way to bring joy to your holidays and to help maintain proficiency in English.
Please go to https://eu-shop.scholastic.co.uk/schools/tasis to browse the latest books. You will find all the information you need on the website and can order and pay online. The books will then be delivered free of charge to TASIS and distributed to your child the last week of school. Please note that the order deadline is midnight on Wednesday, May 23!
This Book Club is a wonderful way to boost your child’s excitement for reading at home. It also benefits the School. For every €1 you spend on this month’s Book Club, TASIS will earn 20¢ in Scholastic Rewards. We are then able to buy more books for our classroom libraries with the Scholastic Rewards.
To help us sort the books, please enter your child’s homeroom teacher’s name when ordering. Remember to place your order online by midnight on Wednesday, May 23!
Please contact me at firstname.lastname@example.org if you have any questions.

All parents are invited to come to Casa Fleming between 12:30–14:30 on Wednesday, May 30, to enjoy one another’s company and share homemade dishes before breaking for the summer holiday. TPA President Laura Colombo will talk about this past year, discuss the new structure of the TPA Board, and discuss some of the activities proposed for 2018–2019. She will also ask parents for feedback based upon their experiences this year.
It is also time for the 2017–2018 TPA members to give parents the opportunity to be involved with the TPA next year. The 2018–2019 TPA will be organized soon, and the TPA is looking for parents who are ready to help. Drawing upon their experience over the past few years, the TPA members would like to organize the volunteering structure a bit differently to make it easier for everyone.
The TPA will have three new positions to help the president keep people involved: High School Coordinator, Middle School Coordinator, and Elementary School Coordinator.
