Terry Fox Run
High School students and faculty members are excited to take part in the School's third-annual Terry Fox Run on the afternoon of Wednesday, October 16. The run is designed to honor the legacy of international hero Terry Fox-an extraordinary athlete, humanitarian, and cancer research activist who embarked upon a Marathon of Hope across Canada after losing his right leg to cancer in 1980 at the age of 22, ultimately covering 5,373 kilometers (or 127.3 marathons) in just 143 days before the spread of his cancer forced him to abandon his quest and ultimately claimed his life nine months later.
Note: TBD indicates that the details of an event are "to be determined."
